Extend The Beams
Function
This function extends a selected beam element to intersect with a second beam or a reference point, modifying its end point accordingly.
Purpose
To adjust beam geometry so that it connects precisely to another structural member or specified location, ensuring accurate modeling of intersections, supports, and continuous load paths.
Operation
First, select the main beam to be extended. Then select the target beam to which it should extend. The command automatically recalculates the main beam's end node location to achieve a clean intersection with the target, preserving all sectional properties.
