Function
This function translates a selected node—along with all structural elements connected to it—by specifying a base point and a target point.
Purpose
To reposition a nodal point and its connected members within the model while preserving all geometric relationships, element properties, and structural connectivity. This is essential for adjusting joint locations, refining geometry, and aligning structural components with architectural layouts.
Operation
First, select the node to be moved. Then activate the "Move" command and define the translation vector by selecting a base point (current node location) followed by a second point (target location). The node and all beams, plates, and other elements connected to it will be displaced accordingly.
