Split Beams
Function
This function divides a selected beam element at a specified node located along its length, creating two separate beam segments.
Operation
First, select the main beam to be split. Then select the node along the beam where the split should occur. The command will divide the beam into two segments at that node, each inheriting the original beam's properties, while maintaining connectivity.
