Align Coordinates
Function
This function modifies the coordinates of selected nodes by aligning them to a specific X, Y, or Z ordinate value.
Purpose
To enforce geometric regularity by positioning nodes along a straight line in a specified global direction. This ensures precise alignment of structural components, simplifies grid systems, and corrects minor modeling inconsistencies.
Operation
First, select the target node(s). Then activate the command and choose the alignment axis (X, Y, or Z) and values. The function will adjust the coordinates of all selected nodes so that they share the same value along the chosen axis, based on a reference point or user-defined ordinate.
