DWG / DXF import

You can import a DXF file into XFEM4U.

DWG is not supported natively. You can convert a DWG file to DXF using AutoCAD, or with a free online converter such as CloudConvert.

The two import options

1. Import DXF underlay - places the DXF in your model as an underlay, to draw on top of.
2. DXF import - converts the lines from the DXF into beams in XFEM4U.

Showing and hiding the underlay

Under Display options > General > Show DXF underlay you can toggle the visibility of the DXF underlay. See Display options.
