Profiles

The first time you draw a beam, a profile needs to be chosen/inserted. You will be asked what kind of profile you want to add. Also when you want to enter a new profile, you will be asked what kind of profile you want to insert.

Depending on your choice, the following dialog boxes will appear.

Profile Types

Material-Based Profiles

• Steel - Steel profile sections
• Concrete - Concrete sections with reinforcement
• Timber - Timber profile sections

Special Profiles

• Built-up Section - Custom composite sections
• Graphical Input
• Input

Concrete-Specific Settings

• Creep - Creep and shrinkage properties
• Exposure Classes - Environmental exposure classifications
